Our Mission Statement
When choosing and committing to an organization, we believe the most important aspects to consider are the organization’s philosophies, plan, and results regarding a player’s development and exposure for college recruitment and placement.
Team Elite has always made “player development and player exposure” a high priority. Our success is evidenced in the thousands of players continuing their playing careers in college and professional baseball
Team Elite’s staff assists in the exposure process from 13U-18U (and beyond) whether it is the college recruiting process, professional scouting process, and/or determining which showcases, camps, schools or advisors are best to obtain the most exposure.
Please review all of the information found in our College Exposure and Placement section. If you have further questions or would like further direction, please feel free to contact our Player Enhancement staff at PLAYERENHANCEMENT
What Team Elite Does
We value each player in our organization regardless of age, skill level, and stage of development. A plan is in place to provide the necessary development and exposure at the right time based on the player’s skill level, age, or stage of development. Below, we offer an overview of this plan.
DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM
Team Elite’s Player Development plan remains at the forefront year to year. In season, we have implemented an advanced level developmental approach including a high level of training, high game and practice intensity, high level of repetitions, specialized drills, and competitive coaches that focus on advancing each player, regardless of their skill level.
In and out of season, we provide the Curve App platform to assist in the players development year around! Curve provides a personalized, targeted approach to player development in all areas including mobility, speed, drills, power, strength, technique and the mental game! Check out more at curveapp.com or reach out to our player enhancement team – PLAYERENHANCEMENT
We have implemented our extensive evaluation process of every player year to year, season to season through a platform/app. This includes strength, speed/agility metrics, intra squad (live play) and coach evaluations. Metrics are provided to the players which include national averages as well as the program averages. This allows players to compare and evaluate themselves in all categories against their peers at all levels.
PLAYER EXPOSURE — SEEING YOU ALL THE WAY THROUGH
Regardless of when the player commits to a college, the Team Elite staff will be available to assist the player with consultations, setting up workouts, choosing the right camps, assisting with the professional scouting process, etc., creating the most exposure opportunities. Throughout our process, we provide some additional opportunities for exposure and promotion through the following:
- High level tournament play
- Promotion of open camps and clinics at Colleges and Universities
- Seasonal referrals to Colleges and MLB scouts
- Posted pitching rotations and rosters to scouts for key events
- Promotion of Perfect Game Showcases for all players, including Jupiter
- Promotion to USA Baseball tryouts for selected players
- Promotion to East Coast Pro tryouts for selected players
- Promotion to Baseball Factory/Under Armor Showcases for selected players
- Promotion to Prep Baseball Report events
- Uncommitted Showcases sponsored by Team Elite, partnering with Premier Baseball Events for seniors
We understand that social media, word of mouth and other various forms of communication make it appear as though every player has committed to a college and you are the last one not committed. However, this process is different for every player! Many players do not commit until their senior season and Team Elite is committed to assisting players through their high school career and beyond. The Player Enhancement staff is here to assist in various ways regardless of the players timeline, by providing the following:
Uncommitted Players: Utilization of Uncommitted 18U (senior season) workouts sponsored by Team Elite, partnering with Premier Baseball Events, private small group workouts, and personal referrals to colleges and universities
Committed Players: Through our intense practices, player evaluations, feedback, camps through Premier Baseball Events, and overall staff consultations, we continue to assist the players in preparation for college
Professional Draft for Senior Graduates: Through our intense practices, player evaluations, and feedback, camps through Premier Baseball Events, and overall staff consultations, we continue to assist the players in preparation for the MLB draft. We routinely have 12-15 players drafted per year.
After Graduation: We love to have our players return in the off-season from college or professional baseball to train with the Team Elite staff or become a coach or instructor.
Team Elite players are part of our organizational family and we are here for them throughout their baseball career to assist where possible.
To provide a better understanding, we have provided a general outline of “the process” through an age group timeline in the next section
